Technical Overview for Administrators & Coaches

Audio Capture TeachFX captures classroom audio through any standard device microphone (laptop, phone). No proprietary hardware is required. Recordings are uploaded securely to the TeachFX platform for processing.

NLP & Speech Analytics Pipeline The platform employs speech recognition and NLP to diarize speaker turns (teacher, student, group, silence), count instructional moves (open-ended questions, academic vocabulary instances, specific praise), and generate a per-session insight report.

Data Layers

  • Teacher layer: Private per-session reports, personal goal tracking, milestone history.
  • Coach layer: Trend views across teachers they support, targeted coaching prompts.
  • District/Leader layer: Aggregated, anonymized school-wide and district-wide instructional data dashboards.

Privacy Architecture Individual teacher session data is not exposed to administrators by default. Aggregated metrics allow district leaders to identify school-wide patterns and allocate support without direct classroom surveillance.
