Synthesis Tutor combines AI-driven adaptive learning with expert-designed pedagogy from educators and neuroscientists, rather than relying solely on a general-purpose LLM. The system performs continuous "micro-assessments" embedded in every lesson to evaluate comprehension in real time and dynamically adjust pacing and content. It is available as a web app (desktop/Chromebook) and an iPad app, with Android tablet support in development. The platform incorporates text-to-speech, multisensory manipulatives, and accessibility accommodations — including automatic read-aloud for users under 7 — making it highly inclusive for neurodiverse learners.
