Technical Notes for Educators & Platform Evaluators
- Adaptive Engine: Synthesis Tutor uses a continuous micro-assessment model — rather than end-of-unit tests — to evaluate mastery at every step of a lesson. Students advance only after demonstrating understanding.
- AI + Human Pedagogy Hybrid: The platform leverages AI for personalization and responsiveness, but all lesson content, pedagogy, and interactive experiences are designed and reviewed by expert educators and neuroscientists. It is not a raw LLM interface.
- Accessibility Features: Text-to-speech reads all content aloud (auto-enabled for users under 7, togglable for all). Voice speed is adjustable. The multisensory design accommodates dyslexia, dyscalculia, ASD, ADHD, and 2e learners.
- Platform Support: Web app (desktop, Chromebook), iPad (App Store). Android tablet in development.
- School/Classroom Use: Separate school and classroom pricing and onboarding is available via direct contact. Consumer plans support up to 10 students on Family tiers.
- Progress Reporting: Parents and teachers receive structured progress reports; the system handles real-time evaluation autonomously.
