Scholarcy offers browser extensions that allow users to trigger summarization on any web page or online article, sending content directly to the Scholarcy pipeline without manual download.

Zotero Integration

Sync your existing Zotero library directly into Scholarcy to batch-convert references into Flashcard summaries. This is ideal for systematic literature reviews and article screening at scale.

Workflow: Zotero Library → Scholarcy Import → Flashcard Generation → Export to CSV/BibTeX

API Access

Scholarcy provides an API (see API Terms of Service) for programmatic document summarization. Developers can POST documents or URLs to receive structured summary output including extracted metadata, key sentences, figures, and bibliographic references. Use cases include building custom research tools, institutional integrations, or automated literature review pipelines.

Export Formats

Word (.docx): Formatted bibliographies and summary documents
Excel (.xlsx): Tabular data of references, figures, and key findings
PKMS-compatible formats: Notion, Obsidian-style exports for knowledge graph workflows
Citation manager formats: BibTeX and compatible formats for Zotero, Mendeley, etc.
