Epic Integration

Ambience is available inside Epic Toolbox and works natively within Hyperdrive (desktop) and Haiku (mobile). It uses:

• Epic Ambient Module for ambient listening and note generation
• Native FHIR APIs for bidirectional read/write access to the Epic chart

No copy-paste or manual upload is required. Notes, codes, and structured data flow directly into chart fields.

Coding Engine

The platform's coding module operates in real time during the encounter:

• HCC surfacing — identifies Hierarchical Condition Category opportunities based on spoken clinical context
• E/M level guidance — suggests appropriate evaluation and management levels
• ICD-10 and CPT suggestions — generated in real-time, with verified accuracy rates of 93–99% across specialties
• 27% improvement in ICD-10 accuracy vs. board-certified physicians (independently verified)

Specialty NLP Models

Ambience maintains purpose-built language models for 200+ subspecialties, trained on specialty-specific terminology, workflows, and documentation standards — including complex domains like oncology, psychiatry, neurology, and emergency medicine.
