Traceloop is built on top of OpenTelemetry and ships with OpenLLMetry, an open-source SDK that instruments LLM calls with a single line of code across Python, TypeScript, Go, and Ruby. It captures prompts, completions, latency, token usage, and more — then runs built-in and custom evaluations (faithfulness, relevance, safety) automatically in CI/CD pipelines or in real-time production traffic. The platform supports 20+ LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Ollama), vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma), and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI). Deployment options include cloud, on-premises, and fully air-gapped environments, with SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.
