Word Add-in Deployment

Spellbook is distributed as a Microsoft Word Add-in, deployable via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center for organization-wide rollout or installed individually from the Office Add-in store. No local infrastructure is required — all processing is handled in Spellbook's cloud environment.

Intake & Workflow Integrations

Contracts can be ingested from multiple upstream systems:

Email — forward incoming contracts directly into Spellbook's intake queue
Slack — trigger contract workflows from Slack messages or channels
Salesforce — connect deal documents from CRM records for auto-review on contract receipt

Playbooks & Standards Engine

Legal teams encode their firm's negotiation positions, fallback clauses, and risk thresholds into Playbooks. These are applied automatically during Review, ensuring every contract is redlined against your specific standards rather than generic rules.

Associate (AI Agent)

The Associate module is a multi-document AI agent that performs complex research, review, and redlining across document sets — ideal for due diligence bundles or multi-party agreements. It handles parallelized document processing with citation-backed output.
