Mercury is a fintech platform built API-first on modern software infrastructure, offering a Mercury API for programmatic access to accounts, payments, and transaction data. Its Intelligence layer includes the AI product Command (which automates financial tasks) and Insights (analytics and reporting), both powered by AI to reduce manual financial operations.

The platform integrates natively with QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite for accounting sync, and supports AI-powered transaction categorization, automated approval workflows, and bill-pay automation. Banking services are provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A. (Members FDIC), with Treasury services powered by portfolios from J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Morgan Stanley. The Mercury API enables developers to embed financial data and payment operations into their own tooling.
