Jan is an open-source, locally-running AI platform built for both end users and developers. It supports a broad ecosystem of models — including Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen, Gemma, and others via HuggingFace (123+ models) — as well as remote model integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and more. Jan exposes a local API reference, making it straightforward to build applications on top of a self-hosted inference stack.
