CodeRabbit integrates with Git platforms (GitHub, GitLab, etc.) via a 2-click install and reviews pull requests using a multi-layer context engine that combines a codegraph for cross-file dependency analysis, linked issue context (Jira & Linear), MCP servers, and live web queries. It runs 40+ linters and security scanners, then uses AI to deduplicate and suppress false positives. Reviews are configurable through a .coderabbit.yaml file supporting path-based and AST-based instructions. The agent learns from developer feedback in natural language and applies those learnings to future reviews. It also supports IDE and CLI workflows for pre-commit review.
